This forest dwelling korok was hand embroidered onto a 6” mounting board and took roughly 175 hours to complete- Yes, you read that right! Watercolors fill the sky and hundreds of french knots grow lush throughout the forest floor, while an authentically crafted sign marks the creation of this woodland scene. By using a 3D embroidery technique (also known as stumpwork), the korok was outlined with wire, carefully embroidered, and cutout of the hoop to stand atop his mighty stump. From his fully three dimensional staff to the thread painted stump, this adorable creature is ready for whatever adventures come his way.
The frame is finished with a dark espresso stain and measures 11.5” in diameter. This piece has been sold, but acrylic glass prints and stickers are available in the shop.
Enjoy. <3
